HIV Today: What Everyone Needs to Know

The California STD / HIV Prevention Training Center is excited to announce our new online course, "HIV Today:  What Everyone Needs to Know."

This interactive course is an engaging introduction to basic information about HIV including facts about transmission, treatment, prevention and relevant psychosocial factors such as disclosure and disparities.  The course contains links to a wealth of resources that enable learners to pursue their unique learning needs.  The self-paced course will typically take between 1 to 2 hours to complete.

This course was designed in alignment with the tenets of the National HIV / AIDS Strategy.  It's geared toward the general public as well as to providers who may be new to serving people living with and at risk for HIV.

Continuing education credits are available for CADAAC, CHES, and BBS.

We hope you will find it to be a valuable resource for both your staff and clients!
